Jacob Adams, MD, Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Surgeon

Jacob Adams, MD is a fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Adult Reconstructive and Joint Replacement Surgery. His orthopedic expertise and clinical interests are broad and include joint reconstruction and replacement, fracture care of the upper and lower extremities as well as treatment of sports-related injuries. He received his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) here in Portland, OR. He completed his fellowship in Adult Reconstruction / Joint Replacement at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ.
Dr. Adams specializes in minimally invasive and muscle sparing techniques, anterior hip replacement surgery, partial knee replacement and complex revision joint replacement surgery. He is also experienced in robotic assisted partial and total knee replacement. He believes in the importance of working closely with patients to better understand their unique needs and goals and offers personalized treatment plans allowing them to return to their desired activities as quickly as possible.
